We thought you might be interested in knowing some statistics about the WiFi sharing habits worldwide, so here you have the top 10 countries where Whisher is helping build truly Free WiFi:
1. United states
2. Spain
3. France
4. Switzerland
5. United Kingdom
6. Italy
7. Germany
8. Brazil
9. Netherlands
10. Portugal
We are literally everywhere, with WiFis being shared even in countries where one wouldn’t expect it to happen. Go and check by yourself in our WiFi coverage maps
In the meantime we keep working on Whisher 3.0, which should be available to beta testers before the end of this year.

Whisher 3.0 coming but Whisher 2.0 for Vista isn’t here yet.
I thought the 2.0 Vista version was released to beta testers, but has something gone so horribly wrong that it stays in beta?
Yes, something did go horribly wrong…Microsoft released Vista, and broke the wireless driver model, thus causing us a great deal of headaches in trying to get everything to work. Things as stupid as being able to check the SSID of a network before connecting to it are overly complex now, there are function calls that don’t even return values…in short, it’s a mess.
This week our driver developer found a breakthrough in our last big remaining problem, and we are confident to be able to provide a Vista version very soon. Thanks for your patience, there really is nothing I would like more than being able to release a working Vista version, believe me
To the anonymous poster who keeps writing a one-line comment praising some other startup in the WiFi space, and bashing Whisher: either stop, as we are not going to approve such anonymous comments, or tell us who you really are and where your interests lie. The last one was that “you don’t like censorship”, well, we don’t like anonymous posters sending us bile and shilling a competitor.
